I started painting with oil paints, but I now use both acrylic and oil. I have my own way of plein air—yet I’m still learning and refining as I go.
In my process, I paint with the light I see, always trying to capture that “sunlit” feeling—warm, alive, and a little bit magical. Some days it’s smooth; some days it’s a lesson. Either way, I’m grateful for the journey.
I also turn my paintings into greeting cards, ceramic mugs, tote bags, and postcards—so if you’d like to bring a sunlit moment home, you can browse them in the Shop.
Wharf Reflections
Although this place has been alone for a long time, it still seems alive. It’s still growing and changing—like everything else.

Second Fiddle
Outside the light, out of the amplifier’s reach, Second Fiddle waits on the wall. It sits beside the hook where the favorite guitar used to be—missing the loving hands of the fiddler.

Sunshine on the Beach
A return to California—where it all began. When I’m painting, I just want to enjoy the day. Life should be fun. I use photographs as a guide, then follow my own colors.

Dark Skies over a new Sunrise
On a perfect morning in South Florida, the clouds look like skyscrapers. We caught the sun just as it peeked up on the horizon.

High Country Pole Barn
This place seems like a dream. I lived here once, high up on a mesa, surrounded by the mountains.

Lane of Memories
Before the rush, the sun brightens a lane in the south of France, where memories await.
